For ten years now, Edenwood Duo has been quietly building a dialogue between cello and guitar, between light and shadow, between the Americas and Europe. To mark this anniversary, the duo returns to the Massif Central this summer for its fifth tour of the region across ten years of existence — a date that has become something of a tradition, thanks to the warm welcome and the beautiful Romanesque churches that lend themselves so naturally to music.
Sol y Sombras: captures exactly what we've put together for you — on one side, the sol: bright, danceable rhythms and the sun-drenched energy of Latin America; on the other, the sombras: hushed, intimate, melancholic moments where cello and guitar speak more quietly. Between flashes of light and pools of shadow, this programme is a journey in chiaroscuro.
